In 2009, Vita House Building & Finance Working Group launched a major fund raising drive. We made an appeal to the people of Roscommon and beyond, to help us with the necessary finance to build a much-needed extension to Vita House.

As the demands for our services, programmes and counselling continue to grow; the existing building is no longer adequate for the number of people requesting these services. We have been truly heartened with the financial support received and would like to express our deep appreciation for your generosity. We acknowledge how difficult it is for you to donate to a charity in the current economic climate.

We have a dream that the new building will be a sanctuary for those needing support in their lives and an oasis for promoting the growth and development of the person. It is our earnest desire that the services we will offer in our new extension will continue to be marked by excellence, professionalism and operate to the highest standards. Once again thanking you and all the people of Roscommon for your generosity for this most worthy cause. We also thank most sincerely the many volunteer collectors who made such efforts and gave so generously of their time.

The three main areas of concern for the future of the Centre are the provision of a larger building, additional personnel and more funding. Vita House appeals to the people of Roscommon town and county to take ownership of the centre and become involved in its future direction.
